Cabarat

In the twilight of the Weimar Republic, a nightclub singer chases love and fame within the neon glow of a Berlin cabaret. But while her private life is a whirlwind of passion and scandal, the world outside is rapidly succumbing to the rising tide of National Socialism.

Despite being set in the heart of Berlin, the 1972 film Cabaret was primarily filmed in Munich and other parts of West Germany to save on production costs.
