S.W.A.T.

Directed by Clark Johnson and written by David Ayer and David McKenna, S.W.A.T. (2003) is a high-octane action thriller based on the 1975 television series. The film follows Jim Street (Colin Farrell), a former S.W.A.T. team member who was demoted after a controversial decision during a bank robbery. He is given a second chance when legendary Sergeant Dan "Hondo" Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) is assigned to recruit and train a new five-person elite Special Weapons and Tactics unit.

After weeks of rigorous training, the team is tasked with transporting a notorious French drug lord, Alex Montel (Olivier Martinez), into federal custody. The mission becomes a deadly gauntlet when Montel offers a $100 million reward to anyone who can break him out of police custody, prompting every gang and mercenary in Los Angeles to target the S.W.A.T. convoy.
