Taken

Directed by Pierre Morel and written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, Taken (2003) is a relentless action-thriller that redefined Liam Neeson as a modern action star. The film follows Bryan Mills (Neeson), a retired CIA operative with a "very particular set of skills," whose life is upended when his teenage daughter, Kim, is kidnapped by human traffickers during a trip to Paris.

The film is a high-stakes race against time, showcasing Mills' brutal efficiency and unwavering resolve as he tears through the Parisian criminal landscape to bring his daughter home.
