Earth Girls Are Easy

Directed by Julien Temple, Earth Girls Are Easy (1988) is a candy-colored musical comedy that has become a cult classic. Geena Davis stars as Valerie, a Valley Girl manicurist who discovers three furry, colorful aliens (Jeff Goldblum, Jim Carrey, and Damon Wayans) have crash-landed their spaceship into her backyard swimming pool.

After a makeover at the "Curl Up & Dye" salon, the aliens blend into the 1980s Los Angeles scene. The film features vibrant musical numbers and early comedic performances by Carrey and Wayans, serving as a satirical love letter to the fashion, music, and culture of Southern California.
