The Quiet Man
Directed by John Ford, The Quiet Man (1952) is a lush, Technicolor tribute to Ireland and one of the most beloved romantic dramas of all time. The film stars John Wayne as Sean Thornton, an Irish-born American boxer who returns to his native Inisfree to reclaim his family's farm and escape a haunted past.
