X-Men: Apocalypse
Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) is the ninth film in the X-Men franchise, set in 1983. En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) — the first and most powerful mutant, worshipped as a god throughout history — is awakened in Egypt and recruits four "Horsemen" (including Magneto and a young Storm) to purge the world. Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) and Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) must assemble a new generation of X-Men, including a young Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Nightcrawler, to stop him.
The production was based at Mel's Cité du Cinema in Montréal, Québec — the same facility used for Days of Future Past — with most of the film constructed on its 27-acre studio complex.
